Established in the 1940’s RH Trotter & Co has operated continuously within the fresh food sector for more than 70 years. We service an extensive range of customers from supermarkets through to the catering industry, as well as supplying the mining and shipping sectors. History

Ian Lonie purchased the business in 1991, and was joined by Bradley Flint as partner in 2008. Over the next seven years they grew the business on the back of the expanding mining industry. Operating from our own warehouse, we have continued to up our level of service and increase our product range. This has ensured that we continue to offer our customers outstanding service and excellent quality produce that allows us to continuously meet your developing needs. While our core products and services remain essentially the same, our business is continuously changing to adapt to the dynamic environment within which we operate.

Specialised services

Over the last four years, we have been supplying vessels within the Barrow Island (Gorgon Gas Project) quarantine zone. This has meant packing the produce to very specific quarantine standards.

We also supply vessels that order on a four-weekly cycle. When we work with you, we will be in constant communication, sharing information, and ensuring that the produce ordered and supplied is transported in an appropriate manner.

We can also prepare vegetables so that only the usable part is supplied. This improves efficiencies for you and reduces wastage levels.
